Coming of age in a pre-algorithm internet in an online community of 2D animators who just loved to animate as a form of artistic expression, my heart never really left. As someone who loved to draw before I began animating, I loved the feeling of seeing a handmade drawing come to life. I grew up in a household that was very socially conscious and my art often expresses that as I am fascinated by the cultural and social relationships people have with one another and with nature. I have experimented with many other forms of digital media including music production, 3D scanning and modeling and video editing that gives a strong sense of the artist’s hand in my work and I would consider myself as much of a director as an animator. Through my years of dedication I have cultivated a unique style of detailed experimental and surrealist maximalism through my work which demands the viewer’s attention. I take great pride in making the viewer appreciate the craft of animation in both my personal and professional work.
